Personal Injury Evaluation and Treatment
Personal Injury Mental Healthcare
Do you have clients who call you more than most? Someone with a personal injury who is struggling to attend appointments due to depression, anxiety, or PTSD? Not all injuries are visible. Often, after an accident, anxiety, depression, acute stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, or post-traumatic stress disorder may occur. Sometimes, people can develop more than one post-injury mental health issue or have other issues worsen due to the physical, financial, and life stress following an injury—no matter how minor the accident was. We offer assessments to be able to determine if your client meet the criteria for a diagnosis, such as those listed above. Additionally, we create a recommended treatment plan and implement it when possible.
How does it work? There is a 4-step process:
Fill out the form below, call (678.679.0123), text (678.679.0123) , or email (hello@clearlifecounseling.com) to start the process. Verify all demographic information—we need the client’s name, address, date of birth, email address, and best phone number. We need to know roughly what the client has been going through so we can best address their particular struggles and issues.
We email the appropriate intake paperwork as well as the screening and evaluation tools to the client to complete. Once completed, we score these and get them ready for the client to go over with their counselor.
We meet (via telehealth OR face-to-face) to gather some additional information from the client in a Biopsychosocial Interview in order to make sure that we give the proper diagnosis.
We meet (usually via telehealth) to go over the results of the screeners and evaluation tools and provide recommendations for the treatment plan. If treatment is pursued, we get the client scheduled with their counselor to begin to implement treatment.
If you are looking here for yourself, ask your attorney or doctor for more details or a referral. We are honored to be able to help you on this healing journey.
